Carnatic Vocal Teacher
Hailing from a family of musicians, Madhura Subramanian is a Carnatic music Vocalist, Teacher and Bhajan Artist. She is the granddaughter of Late Shri.Ashtapathi V.Venkatesan who is a renowned Bhagavathar. Her father also continues to perform Bhajans, Namsankirtan and Radhakalyanam in and around Tamilnadu. Madhura has been learning Carnatic music for the past 15 years under various renowned gurus.

Madhura initially started learning Carnatic music at a tender age of 6 years from Kalaimamani Shri. Somasundaram(Vocal/Violin Artist) to be her first guru. Madhura later underwent her formal Carnatic music training from Master. Shankar and also became his senior disciple. She also had an opportunity to perform Bhajans and Namsankirtans at various prestigious sabhas in Tamil Nadu.

She has performed in various concerts and performed shows under famous sabhas like Vani Mahal, Narada Gana Sabha and others.
Madhura is highly passionate towards teaching Carnatic music and Bhajans and passing her knowledge to the upcoming generation.

She specializes in training all age groups and her repertoire includes Carnatic compositions from various composers.

Besides learning Carnatic music, Madhura has learnt Bharatanatyam in the traditional manner for 8 years and has given her arangetram in 2009 under Guru Shri. Prakash Krishna. She has also been singing for Bharatanatyam concerts and Arangetrams and received many accolades.
