Mahika Chavali is learning from NC Ravali ji at the Raaga School of Music. She has been learning Carnatic Vocal for five years, starting in 2018. 

The styles, variations, and tunes of different raagams sparked her enjoyment and interest in singing. Mahika has learned from many experiences in Carnatic music, such as linking theory from other kinds of music/instruments to classical music. Initially, she was motivated by her parents, who encouraged her to listen and observe how different types of music are alike. 

Later, she decided to start motivating herself and to follow her passion. To get more involved, she started learning Western Violin at the age of eight. 

Mahika is currently in seventh grade and learning kritis.
