Srividhya ji has been learning carnatic music from the age of 8 and received initial training from Smt. Sundari in Chennai. Having learnt carnatic music from various gurus, she later honed her Carnatic Vocal skills under the tutelage of Vidushi Smt. Leelavathi Gopalakrishnan for over 6 years.

Being a great fan of Smt.Bombay Jayshree Ramnath, Smt Srividhya has also been a student of her music school for 2 years.

With interest to explore a different genre, Srividhya has completed a course in hindustani music as well from A.R.Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, Chennai. She has also performed on a few occasions as part of Conservatory’s programs.

Srividhya is passionate about nurturing cultural values through teaching music to children. She has been teaching vocal carnatic music for the past 8 years.
